To date, many volunteers have served the Plantation Police Department in a wide range of responsibilities. Positions are available primarily during business hours Monday-Friday with some opportunities available during evening and weekend hours. With your support, we can work to make Plantation a safer place in which to work, live and play. |

| * CRIME LINE Assistant - clerical support duties |
| * Crime Prevention Assistant - telephone work with victims of crime |
| * Criminal Intake Assistant - logging and tracking case paperwork |
| * Payroll Assistant - payroll reconciliation and accounting assistance |
| * Property and Evidence Assistant - data entry duties |
| * Reception Desk Assistant - welcome and direct visitors |
| * Special Activities Volunteer - assist with surveys/one time projects |
| * Volunteer Program Assistant - work with volunteer coordinator |
| * Witness Management - processing subpoenas and other paper work |
