FIELD FORCE

Field Force is a thirty-two member team comprised of officers from within the Uniformed Patrol Division. Field Force was established to address the need for a specialized response to large scale police operations. It is also prepared to respond to areas of civil unrest, should the need ever arise. This team is also cross trained with the Broward Sheriff's Office and is part of the County's Mobile Field Force.

Captain Pat McGowan is the Field Force Commander and Sergeant Jim Dourvetakis is the Field Force Supervisor.
