Deputy Chief Howard Harrison oversees the Administration Bureau. He is a native of Plantation, Florida and has been with the Plantation Police Department since 1983.

Deputy Chief Harrison has a Bachelor of the Arts in Criminal Justice from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. He is a Graduate of the Southern Police Institute's Command Officer Course and a Graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy 205th Session. The General Services Division is commanded by Captain Michael Price. Captain Price has been with the Plantation Police Department since 1981. He is a recent Graduate of the Southern Police Institute's Command Officers Course, where he received the Director's Award for Academic Excellence. The General Services Division includes the Police-Fire Telecommunications Center, the Records Unit, Data Processing, the Property and Evidence Unit and Fleet Maintenance. This Division is also responsible for purchasing,
budgetary issues and building maintenance.

The Support Services Division is commanded by Captain Patrick McGowan. Captain McGowan has been with the Dept since 1985. He has an AA in Biology, a BA in Economics and is currently doing graduate work in Public Administration. Captain McGowan attended the Southern Police Institute Command Officer Development School. The Support Services Division is comprised of the Training Unit, Accreditation Unit, Site Planning, Police Reserve Program, Police Explorers Unit, Crime Prevention, Foot Patrol, Code Enforcement, Volunteer and Community Services Program, Recruitment and Selection Section and the Crime Analysis and Research and Planning Unit of the Police Department.
