The General Services Division is commanded by Captain Michael Price. Captain Price has been with the Plantation Police Department since 1981. He is a recent Graduate of the Southern Police Institute's Command Officers Course, where he received the Director's Award for Academic Excellence. The General Services Division includes the Police-Fire Telecommunications Center, the Records Unit, Data Processing, the Property and Evidence Unit and Fleet Maintenance. This Division is also responsible for purchasing, budgetary issues and building maintenance.
