SEVERE WEATHER UPDATES
Information

The Plantation Fire Department has a number of ways of keeping the public informed about the progress of severe weather emergencies occurring in our area.
During an impending weather emergency, the fire department receives regular updates from both The Broward County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
This information is then disseminated through our Resident Emergency Hotline, 954-585-2363. Callers will hear any and all current information regarding an approaching storm and what actions, if any, to take.
Once the storm has passed, the hotline will have any information related to clean-up or recovery.

Another method is to come right here to our web site. Our Emergency Preparedness site will contain the same information and will provide links to other related sites such as NOAA, FEMA and the Hurricane Center.
