CARE-A-LITTLE

The Care-A-Little programThe Care-a-Little program was developed more than four years ago by paramedic Rita Adams and is sponsored by the Fire Association. Its purpose is to locate and assist school-aged children in the City of Plantation who need help with self-esteem and personal issues or are "at risk" for trouble.

The program raises money to provide these kids, as identified by the school system, with clothing, medical, dental or eye care, gifts at holiday time and, if necessary food or furniture.

The goal of Care-A-Little is to help these children feel better about themselves so they can remain in school and help improve themselves and their family or personal situation.
